The first stage of “The Space of Synagogues” project is almost finished – the walls of the “Golden Rose” synagogue are preserved and the “new” floor is ready.
…As we informed earlier, after lengthy debate experts finally agreed that the best way to resolve the issue would be to level the floor with special gravel of different textures. It was felt this resolution would not draw too much attention to the floor, direct attention to surviving elements and provide effective drainage.
Additionally special gutter for better water drainage has been equipped.
